Just to give ya'll an update, my phone messed up again the other day and the only way to make it make or recieve calls/texts was to do the factory reset again. Frustrated, I took it back to the Verizon store and was sent to the service department. The clerk seemed to understand my issue and since my phone was so new they replaced it with a new one and this one seems to work fine so far. He said that there have been a lot of issues like mine and some of these phones were just bad. He also said that the network for the Nexus seemed to work fine at launch but after a system update they broke it lol.

I have been reading up on this and it supposedly isn't the phone it is a problem with the update to 4.0.4. Another carrier heard this was a problem and then made an update that fixed it. I also found that I lose network connection when it is in sleep mode ... Which, unless you are using it without stopping happens a lot ... I hope this issue is addressed soon, I really would like to be getting calls and texts.

We want you to enjoy the latest software version on your Galaxy Nexus Call34! Are you still having difficulties? Have you tried removing your SIM card and temporarily enabling airplane mode on the device? If the phone doesn't respond, I recommend completing a hard reset. I have included links below to assist you. http://bit.ly/z3CvzK, http://bit.ly/swCYZF
