Netflix uses a proprietary viewer, not a simple flash program to watch online. (Hence the reason I do not have it... No Linux support.)
I don't think flash availability would have any bearing on the ability of netflix to provide a streaming video experience... Also if they are just now looking for programmers for Android, any actual release is likely to be months (or longer) in the future.
It would be very cool but I have to agree with bkfist. If they are just starting to look for developers I would guess it would be a minimum of 6 months before we see an app.
