is the swyp the same as predictive text? I love that fetcher I suck at spelling.
I have to wait till I get to the states to get the phones Verizon won’t ship to a FPO,AP.

Swype is something of an alternate keyboard (or alternate input method using the keyboard) that allows you to not really hit keys,but just drag near them. See http://www.swypeinc.com/index.html for information.

thanks for all the info. how does it handel E-mail and texting. i see it only will handel 1 e-mail provider so i guess i can get a Gmail account. now does it save every thing to your SD card or is teh SD card just for music and video

and you can customize where it saves everything. if it wont allow you to save something to the sd card, then there will be an app that you can find and use that will let you do this (or at least back it up to the sd and delete it from the internal memory). and i should've clarified earlier.....both devices have 8 gb internal and both will handle a 32 gb sd so i guess that's where "expandable to 40 gb" comes from.

thats tha best example that i have herd of how teh RAM in teh phone work adn it makes more since to me now. 32+8=40Gig. so teh apps are not accable from the SD just teh internal 8 gig. will music play from SD card or do i have to have that on teh interanel 8 gig also

Music can be stored on the SD card and played without problem.

as well as pics, video, documents, etc. you can use the sd card for "almost" everything. it's just some apps that have to be installed to the phone's internal memory.

how is signal strinth on teh Droid X and Droid 2. i know that there was a issue witht eh iPhone 4 with it and does teh droid have the same issue?

i haven't seen too many issues with signal strength. however...i think the overall concensus is that these new, high tech devices don't quite get as good of signals as the trusty flip phones.
