My problem with the NFL mobile app is when I click on the icon, it goes to the app however it only stays on for a second then goes back to my home screen. I've tried to Uninstall to reinstall but it only Uninstalls the updates. How can I fix this?

This is a very unusal issue Sue, let's get some more informaiton and explore options to resolve this NFL application dilemma. When did the issue start? What is your phone model and software version? Did you notice if issue started after installing/updating a particular application/software?

As far as I know it's been since I updated to the new software Verizon sent

to I assume all galaxy 4 users. I'm not sure of the software number or

name. I'm rather a dunce when it comes to that stuff. .you did tell me to

try un loading and reinstall however it would only let me Uninstall the

updates not the whole program probably because this was a pre installed app.

Once again my problem is when I click on the NFL mobile icon it goes to the

program only for a few seconds then it pops back to my homepage. Hope this

info helps figure this out. (P.s. I tried again just now and it still

doesn't work)

Thanks for taking these helpful steps to troubleshoot. I would suggest re-installing the latest updates for NFL Mobile in the Play Store under My Apps as we continue troubleshooting. TO confirm are you using the SAmsung Galaxy S4 or Note 4? The device software version can be found on eother device under Settings>About Phone>Software>System Version and Baseband version. You can also clear the caceh of the application via Settings>Manage Applications>All>NFL Mobile>Clear cache and/or data.

Ok I reinstalled the updates (after Uninstall ing them) and I cleared the

cache.

I am using Samsung galaxy 4 phone

Android version 5.0.1

Baseband I545vrugof1

Software MDF v1.0 release 4

VPN v1.4 release 4

I think that's all you asked me for.

Fyi I did try again. After reinstalling the updates and clearing the cache,

and as soon as I touched the screen to scroll it popped back to my home

screen.

Let me know if you have any other ideas

I'm sorry to see these issues still exist. We want you to stay connected to football. Can I ask, when you set the device up, did you sign into the gmail account? We want to make sure that it wasn't auto loading your applications back.  We will get to the bottom of this.

I appreciate you taking the time to help me with this matter. To answer

your question I believe I'm always logged in. I get my emails ok. I also

get NFL notifications that come to my home screen . And again I'll go there

and sometimes it remains for a couple of seconds until I want to click on a

story or score THEN it popped me back to the home screen. This is the only

app that I have issues with. I never had this problem before I uploaded the

new Verizon software for my phone. Grrrrr.....

try the go90 app it's supposed to support some of the nfl games etc. I watched a game on it
