That's bullshit, why should I Have to download an app that will take up more memory than if the option were to be programmed in!?

If it was preinstalled it takes up the same amount of space as if you downloaded it from the play store. They are the same app. Only difference nuances licensing agreement with Motorola has expired.

Go to Play store and get the Google keyboard. It is free and has swype (gestures). Kitkat installed an Android keyboard which does not let you swype. Don't use the trial version or purchase the Swype app. The free Google keyboard is all you need.
