My android phone just started displaying the wrong time and it won't update widget.

Any ideas? This is really annoying and could have to do to with the towers?

Shut the phone down, pull the battery and sim card for 30 seconds, put it back together and turn it on and see it the correct time comes up after the phone reconnects to the network.  Do you still have this problem in other locations?
