My Verizon app not validating phone number?

After registering on the site, I tried going on the  My Verizon app and it keeps saying that my phone number could not be validated and to try again later.  Is there any way to get it to work so that I can see how much data I have left and to view my account away from home? My verizon works fine on the computer when I log in.

Go to settings- Application Manager- all apps. Force stop the My Verizon app, clear cache and data, restart your device.Have mobile data on - restart app and go into your account from your device.
