My HTC one sent a ":(" to my last contact immediately after it updated. Anyone else?

I don't believe it was saved in drafts and I didn't even have the phone in my hand. Looking to see if this has happened to anyone else.

Let's make sure we stop the device from having a mind of its' own! Did this only happen once? What messaging app is this? Did you try to power it off/on since the update completed?
