Oh! Sorry ... I misunderstood your issue.
So your pics are sending, and the recipients receive them, but can't open them? Are they getting errors? Is it a certain type of phone, OS, or carrier? Just trying to try and narrow down what the issue might be.

One of the recipients(my wife) has a galaxy s4 the other an older phone but
was able to receive pics from my droid bionic. My wife suggested using
hangouts instead of the regular Messaging app on the phone...not my
preference but tried it and still having the same issue.
When I send it gives a message "sending MMS"...could this be the issue if
she is using SMS app?
I would prefer to stay with the messaging app that came on the phone, but
willing to switch...just wondering why hangouts wouldn't work...isn't it
SMS?

I'm sorry this is happening ersafarz! Let's figure this out. When sending MMS, are you sending via Mobile Data/ 4G, or WiFi? Are you able to receive and open MMS on your phone? Please try clearing memory: http://vz.to/14LtxlA then restart phone. Once completed, please try again and keep us posted.
Thank you,

I am sending a picture that i took with the phone via the standard text app
that came on the phone. I am assuming this is via 4G. Cleared memory and
restarted.
