My Galaxy s3 is asking for a recovery password.

I do not know what the password is (it is not my Google acct password).  Is there any way to get around this without returning to factory default? I am unable to do anything- except I did figure out how to restart in recovery mode but I don't know what to do from there.

Hi Pappy33,

There is another way to get your Google Password. Have you tried Google's password recovery method? To reset your password, enter the email address you use to sign in to Google. This can be your Gmail address. Here'e a link to help http://bit.ly/1qHt8e0.
