I was given a droid DNA minus the sim Card as present, so I had to purchase the card. I put it in and bam full service used phone. My issue now is that every time I try to do to much on 4G LTE my phone shuts down. It was fine when it registered as being on 3G at work, I was able to download apps, update things, and be on the internet. I no sooner walk in my door and it registers as 4G, and the phone wont stay on for longer than a minute. Is there a fix for this? Am I missing something?

It shouldn't do this. You could try to make a warranty claim, but I think that is only valid for the original purchaser.

Hey there Pysch0kandie,
That is awesome that someone gave you a DNA as a present. It's a great phone to receive as a gift. I'm sorry for the issues that you are having with the phone shutting down. How often does this happen? Does it happen when you perform a specific function or access a specific application?
I would try a soft reset,http://vz.to/156ZzHK, and once the phone comes back on test to see if it shuts off.
You can also place the device in safe mode,http://vz.to/1db3qYX, and let us know if the issues persist in safe mode.
Keep us updated with results.

You purchased a sim? Verizon stores hand them out for free. Weird?

To me I would do a hard reset and before starting over on the phone make sure the sim card is from Verizon and in correctly. Did you activate the sim card?
