Having a problem with the location on my Eris Droid now that I've updated to 2.1. I live in Panama City Beach but everything on phone (weather, clock, google location etc) says I am in Tallahassee -- 100 miles away. I have my 3g network on plus the GPS. Can anyone assist??
Not sure if you've checked already, but there's an app in the marketplace called "GPS Status" that will give you some info on your GPS settings and maybe give you some insight as to whether or not you have a hardware problem. Try it out and see if it helps at all.
You can also turn the gps off and go into your application manager and clear data for application that run with gsp like the weather app and google maps. Once you finish clearing data turn gps on and see if the location is corrected.
