On my Droid Incredible I could limit the size of the inbox for alternate email accounts (non-gmail) by having it sync a specific number of days (e.g., one week) or a specific number of emails (e.g., "sync fifty most recent"). I have a RAZR MAXX HD running ICS, and I don't see any way to do this on the stock mail application? Can anyone tell me if this is possible? Thanks!

HTC phones use a modified email app on their phones and that option is specific to their app. At the same time, if Motorola uses the stock android email app (which is very similar to the gmail app), the messages are not actually saved on your phone, so their is not as much of a concern over them taking up space and, if you want to access an older message, you can. With HTC phones, you have to increase the number of days/emails you sync in order to get to older ones.
