Latest LG Vortex upgrade

Just got the message on my phone that there is an update. What exactly is this updating on my Vortex? Possibly Gingerbread?

 

Also, it rebooted and it's stuck at the LG logo. Is this normal or is my droid bricked for some reason?

I would pull the battery while it is stuck in the logo view and leave it out for a few minutes. Reinsert and reboot the phone. Hopefully it boots normally after that.

Looks like it isn't Gingerbread just some maintenance updates. You should be able to see the link for pdf info sheet at http://support.vzw.com/system_update/vortex.html
