LG Lucid text messaging/keyboard pausing/force close

Hi!

I hope someone can help.  Since the latest upgrade, it is an effort to send a text message sometimes.  I will begin words and it will hang or pause for sometimes as long as 45 secs to a minute until I can finish the word.  Then after 2 or 3 messages, the keyboard will quit responding and I have to force close.  This only happens when texting. Now, starting about a week a go, my messaging will stop and ask me if I want to wait or close.  I know that it is not just my device because my daughter, who has the exact same device, is having the same issues.  Any ideas on how to fix this?

Has Support responded to you at all? This is happening to me every hour of every day. My daughter is pregnant and I will trash this phone and Verizon if it doesn't begin to work properly!!!
