I have an LG Lucid and it is a known problem that it will give an Out of Space issue when it shows ample internal and SD card space.This message appeared 2 days after I moved most of my pictures off of my phone.
I had this happen several months ago and found a post on a non-Verizon forum somewhere about uninstalling updates or uninstalling then re-installing for something like Google Play Store or Facebook (I can't remember the exact details) that worked. Does anyone know of this work around?
What I have tried so far:
Deleted most of my old text message conversations.
Cleared the cache on the browser and any other applications that I could
Deleted any unnecessary applications
Reset the date, tried updating my Android system to 4.0.8 because supposedly this issue is fixed in that version (didn't show an update and I'm running 4.0.4)
Please don't suggest a factory restart. I'm not THAT tech savvy and really don't want to erase everything.
Very frustrated...
