LG Lucid 3 Issues

I've been having the same issues & run-around since I upgraded to the LG Lucid 3 smartphone. When it happened with the brand-new phone, I worked for several months with Verizon's tech support who finally agreed to exchange phones. However, the 2nd one was refurbished, not new! It's been doing the same thing. Rather than deal with poor tech support again for months, I've just dealt with it. Unfortunately, this is our only phone line & we now have to travel extensively to visit a son who's had a major life change. We've been lucky not to have any travel issues. the phone has shut down, run out of battery, and locked up during travels. we travel rural roads with many miles between towns & possible assistance.

hoping someone can advise re: bringing a different phone to verizon. I can't afford the $350 termination fee & can't get verizon to assist with a new & reliable phone.
