Keeping the $15 data plan

Hello,

I wanted to know if anyone out there knows or was succesfull in keeping their $15 data plan on a new phone without upgrading.

I currently have a LG Vortex & I'm thinking of buying a Samsung Nexus on Ebay and wanted to know if it was possible that the $15 data plan will transfer to the new phone since I wont be upgrading through verizon.

Any info is appreciated.

Hello crmay11!  I see you’re concerned with losing your $15 data plan.  I would love to provide you the information you need to help make your decision.  When upgrading to or activating a 4G device, you are required to select one of our current tiered data plans.  You have the option of selecting a 2 GB $30 standalone feature or upgrading to one of our new Share Everything plans.  http://goo.gl/3UFqV  Not only will you have unlimited voice & text, but you’ll also get Mobile Hotspot for all capable devices, at no additional charge!  How does that sound?

The data plan is based on the type of phone and/or when you got it.
