No, it cannot be reversed. My Motorola Droid Razr Maxx phone jack died months ago. It's very common, so I bought a bluetooth device. I did not want to return my phone for a refurbished phone.

I use it in my car, which requires a wire for music (it has blue tooth for phone, but not music). Do you know of a blue tooth receiver, which then has a wire jack I could plug in?

I use a Motorola T505 that transmits both music and phone to my car radio via FM. You would have to search for a wired solution.
