Which phone do you have? If you have a Samsung you may be able to convince one of the Samsung Reps at Best Buy to flash your phone with the older version but is no other way. Having the Samsung rep do it from their computers is exactly like having the Samsung Factory do it and will not void any warranty or anything and is completely legit.

In my local area Best Buy Stores the Samsung reps are telling customers to return the phones back to the factory.

Serious? That is not good. They are supposed to be able to do anything that the factory can do outside of faulty Hardware. That kind of puts a damper on trying to get it done fast.

I think they were being overloaded as they had been doing a lot of S5's.

That would be my guess as well. Terrible for Customer Service and happy Customers, but good for them somehow.

Anyone with a PC and a Phone can use ODIN to do all of this on their own.

True but you run the risk of voiding the warranty where if the Samsung Reps do it, it is just like the factory doing it and will not void the warranty. You also do not have the RAW untouched OS to load back on the phone.

You can get it right from the same Samsung Support page you download ODIN from and it does not Void the Warranty if you use their flash software and firmware. It's the samething the Best Buy Samsung minions are doing for everyone, or were doing.
