I have a new Nexus 6. I noticed that I often have to toggle the speakerphone off then on again multiple times during a call. What happens is that the volume suddenly drops to regular earpiece volume when I'm on a conference call using the speakerphone. Toggling it off then on again fixes it at least temporarily. It sometimes happens 5-6 times in the first few minutes of a call, then it is fine after that.
Known issue?

Just an update -- I got an Android system update yesterday... now this issue seems to be gone. So all OK for now.

Nexus6user, let’s get this speakerphone in tip top order. We want this working as good as new. As this does not seem to be a known issue of the device, how long has this been happening? Is this happening intermittent or consistently? Do you currently have a case on your device? Any moisture or physical damage to the device?

Hi -- it's a brand new phone (last week), and I noticed this issue right away. No moisture or damage. There is an Incipio case on the phone (from the VZW store in Hartsdale NY). It happens on regular (non-conference) calls also. It doesn't happen all the time but is fairly consistent in the first few minutes of a call. Often I have to toggle the speaker button off then on several times.
