John_Doe, I think you need to get real here.  What Bladerunner (and all of us) want is CLARIFICATION and CONFIRMATION of higher capacity S4 devices.  If VZW didn't order larger sizes from Samsung, fine -- but they should confirm that to their customers.  If ATT has an exclusive deal for higher capacity devices, so be it -- but VZW would CLEARLY be aware of that and should confirm it to their customers.

I think you are missing Bladerunner's point.

at&t online shows them OOS but if you do a search at the web sight you may find them in stock for pick up at an at&t corporate store near you.  All 3 stores near me had more than 1 in stock.  I wonder what the usable space to user is available on the 32gb S4?  I do hear samsung is thinking about giving some of the storage space back to the consumer on the 16gb version.

Not a single carrier has "confirmed" if they have in fact "ordered" the 32GB S4's from Samsung.  In fact, AT&T didn't even announce anything about carrying a 32GB version when they initially released the 16GB version.  So, what makes you people think the issue is with VZW when not a single carrier has information regarding availability of the 32GB S4?  One carrier?  Fine.  All 3 major carriers?  Obviously, it's no one's fault.

AT&T can get ahold of new phones bc of their ability to get exclusive rights to them.  Have we forgotten about the iPhone and how long AT&T had an exclusive contract with Apple that didn't allow other carriers to release them for what, 2-3 years?  You guys are ******** and complaining about something that carriers have no control of.  The capacity issue is Samsung's fault, and they have already discussed "possibly" releasing an update that clears up a lot of space.  When and if that will happen?  We don't know.  Upset bc VZW doesn't have a 32GB S4?  Guess what, the other 3 carriers don't either.

I've considered switching to AT&T too.  Then I think about it and I'm like, "wait, do I care more about a device or more about the service?"  I'll take service.  AT&T is great, but even surprisingly here in the city, VZW's 4G/LTE network is much more reliable.  Besides, I can't fathom threatening to actually switch carriers, and then acting on it, just bc the newest and coolest device isn't available.  Good grief.

No I'm, not because Verizon has stated very clearly they they do not have plans to get the 32 GB version.

Can you provide proof?  If you're talking about the Adam Mills GottaBeMobile article, which has no sources or links to an official Verizon statement, that holds no weight.  Furthermore he has never responded to comments questioning the validity of his claim.  I call B.S. until something real from Verizon comes out.

If you can provide a real statement from Verizon that is a different story, but I am skeptical of your claim until you provide actual proof.

I hope it was cathartic for you to rant like that.  I think you need to step back and chill out.

Maybe not proof but I found this article at Cnet which maybe what John Doe was referring.

http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-57584004-94/will-verizon-ever-sell-a-samsung-galaxy-s4-with-more-st...  I would take this as a credible source over the other writer.  You have to read between the lines I guess.

That sure is better than the 8 - 9 that is left on the 16gb.  Now is VZW just >> comment deleted; please keep it courteous << sells them to their customers that desire to pay more and get more.  I even pay full price for my phone so it is not like I will flinch at a few more $$$.  I remember the S3 was only $50.00 at the time I bought it.  Like the person says above 32gb should be the standard in these kind of phones   I like the fact that the S3 and the S4 will use the 64gb sd cards as well and I think all phones should.  Limiting storage space on todays phones is just stupid.  Memory is not that expensive in todays world.
