No matter where I go there is always an available WiFi network named EMOSS. There are one or two others as well sometimes that always show up, but EMOSS always shows up, be it at home, a store, downtown, or other cities. It is always secured, and I have never connected or saved this network name. Is this network so general named network or is it some huge broad range series of company or carrier routers? It isn't like a generic name like Belkin, Cisco, Linksys, NetGear or etc. Some of those use a different string of numbers or letters to differentiate them from the rest.

EMOSS is just some phantom signal or base somewhere with no explanation.

With you everywhere? That is really weird... You don't by chance carry around two cell phones? If so, then emoss may be the mobile hotspot name of your other phone... Other than that, I really don't know...

I thought about it being a JetPack, hotspot, or something like that, but it is literally...everywhere I go. I only have one phone and Google did not return any results related to EMOSS. I have noticed before, in an old apartment complex I lived in that there was this ghost-type network "connection" or some similar generic name that I could never locate. Turned out to be the apartment office relay when they were trying to implement "free wifi" throughout the complex. (Very slow speeds) I noticed later, after moving out, that there were small antennae on the top edge or each buildings roof. Yet, just travelling down a highway near homes or businesses I will see this network.

I would probably do a backup and restore. Seems like it could be some spyware or something.
