Hmmm... quick search for Z3v came up with http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2467026,00.asp
So yeah if Verizon were to get it I'd dump my Motorola Maxx HD in a heartbeat.... it's got a good battery, SD card slot and a good camera which are my top 3 for phone requirements.

This is a good sign! Now lets hope Verizon follows through and doesn't bloat it down too much.

To the Verizon employee monitoring this forum: Tell your supervisor if Verizon doesn't carry this phone, I'll happily go to T-Mobile that is carrying this phone. And I want either the copper or silver one.

I want this or the Z3 compact on Verizon. Either one will do. I hope the rumors are true.

Hopefully we will hear some news on October 9th.... so many rumors. It seems like it may be my next new phone if it makes it here.

I just want to make a statement about my interest in the Xperia Z3 line. If the Z3 Compact were to be released on Verizon, I would buy one exactly 1 second after they went up for sale. It seems like the perfect phone for me, I want new and high-end but also a smaller form factor. I have been waiting for months with an expired contract yet nothing good has come out, nor are there any rumors of anything which may come out anytime soon.
I think most customers want the bigger screens, but there is a very significant market segment that doesn't. If manufacturers and carriers would figure this out, there would be several high-end options with sub-5" screens. Currently the Z3 Compact is the only one. And we can't use it on the best network on the planet.

Now that today's event has come and gone, October 23rd will not come soon enough. I can't wait to check out the phone and see if I'll be getting it.

I am not. T-Mobile preorders for the Z and Z1S was so pack luster it was honestly not even with pre-order. Even though they had them in stores they always had it in stock in stores.

I agree 100%. I've been waiting about five years to ditch the flip phone, and I'm finally ready to pull the trigger if they carry the Z3 compact. The Z3 is too big.
Are you listening Verizon? There's a significant amount of interest in the Z3 compact...
