I need major help with videos on LG Vortex

I have been having a problem with taking videos on my LG Vortex. Its really embarrassing so I really don't want to go to the store and have to explain it to them. My boyfriend used my phone and downloaded porn onto it. After I found out I went and deleted them right away. But now every time I take a video of say my cousins playing at the beach it will take the video but when I am looking through my videos and pictures the image that comes up is from the porn stuff he downloaded. When I hit play it will be my cousins at the beach. I know this sounds confusing. When a video is taken it is inserted to the gallery right along with the pictures. When I click on a random picture then start swipping and come to a video the picture pops up of being the porn stuff with the play botton in the middle. I hit play and its the video I want but the image that is there doesn't match the video behind it. Please help this is super embarrassing.

So let me get this straight, the bad stuff is deleted from the phone. However the thumbnail preview is still there and is being used as the preview for the good video?

Try this and hopefully others will chime if I am wrong.

Go to settings > applications > manage applications > scroll down to Media storage > select it > press the clear data button. Also go to the Gallery (or Pictures) application in the same view and press the clear data button there too. This should force your phone to recompile the thumbnails for all your images including the videos.

To be on the safe, I would suggest that you make a copy of the contents of your sd card on a computer. Just in case, those directions delete more than the thumbnails previews.
