I have the Droid Dna and when notifications come up they just vibrate but do not make noise. I already went to settings and pushed the noise for notifications all the way over but it still just vibrates.
There may be two places where you need to check settings: the overall settings for the phone, and the settings in the messaging app itself. Make sure both are set to make a noise.
@GrandePapi, I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. This is a fantastic question for a fabulous device. As @Dave-In-Decatur suggested there is a notification settings with the messaging app itself.
Once you are in the messaging applications, you will hit the menu button located in the upper right hand corner. You will then select Settings and then Notifications to set the necessary alerts.
