How to fix camera bug on Samsung Galaxy S5?

Camera stops working on Samsung Galaxy S5 and cannot view all photos in gallery.  The photos look like they will load but never do.  When try to use camera it is really slow and it will eventually tell me that the camera has stopped working.  Restarting provides only a temporary fix.

The camera is an important feature of the phone and we want you to be able to enjoy using yours. When did you begin to experience this issue? Did anything change on your device around the time this issue started? Do you have an SD card in your phone? If so, do you experience the same issue when you remove the SD card?

Hi -

I just took the SD card out and it seems to be working smoother than it

had. What does that mean? This has been an issue for over a month.

Help is here sjlyter! I certainly want your camera to work as intended! It is imperative that we get more information in order to explore resolution options! When did this issues start? Do you recall if issue started after installing/updating any application/software? What is your software version http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-97648/ please? Hi,

The issue started probably 2 months ago, but as I had not used very much I

can't recall the exact time that it started and what apps were

updated/installed at that time. I went through and uninstalled a bunch of

apps in hopes of fixing it. I have also noticed in the past week the lock

screen that I have will sometimes display funky characters instead of

numbers and letters. Restarting only seems to provide a temporary fix.
