after a recent a samsung upgrade I'm getting a notification that states "Storage space is running out"..
storage settings tells me I have 6.35g in miscellaneous files but names only a fraction of them.
how can it find and delete the remaining hidden files?
this is a very common issue in the galaxy phones but know of the forums have an answer.
can anyone at Verizon help?

The surest way is to save essential information, then factory data reset.
NOte I didn't say backup, which will save the junk also.
I Use google photo for pictures and video. Google drive for documents and Gmail/Google for contacts.
PLease make sure you have a good wifi connection for factory data reset and adding all your information back onto the phone.
