I was experiencing extreme latency with my phone, so I followed instructions from Verizon support to clear the cache on my phone. I did that and it helped for about a week. Then started my phone in safe mode about five days ago, also at the recommendation of Verizon support. There is a definite improvement in my phone's performance. But how do I know if or which apps are "competing" and causing the slowness??? Thanks.

Thanks for your efforts, idomortgagesUT. When did the latency begin? This may help you determine which app is causing the problems. Or you can remove all of the downloaded apps and add them back one by one to get to the root cause.
