How do I attach a specific ringtone to a contact/ phone number

Open contacts...open the contact you want to assign a ringtone to...edit the contact...  if the ringtone option is not on the screen to add info, there may be three dots at the top left or right of the screen (depends on your phone), and the option to set the contact ringtone will be there when you tap the three dots.
