How can I unlock my old Droid Incredible 2 to use other SIM cards?

I have an old HTC Droid Incredible 2 that I'd like to unlock to use with non-Verizon SIM cards. I have replaced the phone so it is no longer under contract. Is this a service Verizon will provide?
