Hi Break.

It's supitsmike from the T-Mobile forums,and where you probably don't remember me I'll say this;

The discussion of rooting/hacking is strictly not allowed here. I've tried many times to teach on it but I have gotten in trouble for it constantly.

Hey dude! What kind of trouble?

You won't believe the amount of times I've been suspended on these forums for doing silly things such as telling someone something about a certain subject or application. They run a tight ship here, even though with Android it's insanely difficult to do that.

I know your forte is with rooting/modding/hacking phones, and I realize that it may be a little bit more than difficult to not discuss it but trust me, it's not going to fly here. Take it from someone who's has been in trouble *many* times before because of it.

@GeriO No, I don't post there. I just stopped posting here. Trust me when I say that I miss it here but after a while it just felt suffocating.

That is odd mike.when someone asks about an app or to recommend one,I do just that. I have never been suspended. I have been in trouble for other things though.  As my friend Lance would say "Once you get off the leash you can pretty much do anything. Just when you get in trouble they put you on a leash again. Bad pup!"

It's not recommending legitimate apps that gets you in trouble, it's recommending apps that violate the Verizon TOS. :smileywink:

Verizon is pretty serious about rules, and they don't like people suggesting to other people that they should/can break/bend the rules. (Which is certainly fair. They have a network to protect, after all.)

That being said, it's not like there aren't other places on the web to get that info. Removing it here doesn't stop the apps/hacks from existing, just removes any thought that Verizon might condone such behavior.

Pretty much this. I've only ever got in trouble for recommending apps for tethering.
