So you are leaving Verizon for Sprint? are you listening to what you are saying? have you dealt with their customer service? Their network? good luck on that... specially with their HUGE 4g footprint... Verizon is getting 4g very soon.

Yeah, Verizon is getting 4G. But they probably won't have any phones that can use it. We'll see that 4G is released and not get any time frame on a compatible phone :smileytongue:

wanna leave verizon, then leave, guarantee you will be on the other forums in a couple of months complaining how the customer service of AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint stink, how support for the phones are no where to be found, or how come Verizon just got the latest new phone while you have a piece of junk that doesn't do what you want.

I have to agree with you about AT&T and Sprints customer service/tech support. I was with both companies and the reason why I left both was the horrible, horrible service I got. However, I still cannot help but be frustrated in the lack of information from Verizon regarding new phones....especially one I've been waiting ooooohhhhh sooo long for.

Well where I can certaintly agree that it's a wonderful device...It's on the Sprint network.

Call me crazy but I thought you loved yourself more than to switch over to a provider that's sub-par compared to VZW.

and what makes sprint sub par?

the free roaming on other CDMA carriers?

the cheaper plans?

the great customer service ( havent had any issues and get discounts on as well)

great 3g speeds?

great call quality?

wow bad points for sprint. Guess they are subpar darn. In all honesty verzion has one thing and only one thing over sprint... its size. Verizon can over charge its customers and get away with it... sprint cant. For now.

The only good things that I've ever heard about Sprint is the roaming, the tested reliability, and price. Everything else I've read have been abysmal left and right -- and their phone selection is pretty poor.

Also, their 3G speeds are lolable at best, even if you're in range for it. It's as slow as a turtle. Lets not advance to T-Mobile.

And besides, even if they were as awesomesauce as you are touting them to be, then I would imagine that they're #1 for everything. They're not. Not even close, and TBH I'm honestly shocked that they're still in business.

and what are you basing this one?

Lets see phone seleciton the same as verizon minus the droid

3g Speeds are as fast as verzon sorry I've been on both networks and my 3g speeds in areas where both are rated as excellent sprint has beat out verzion.

Only reason verzion is number one is becasue of purchasing of alltell wasnt for that they woudl be barely above sprint in numbers of people. All your info is based on your own personal opinion and nothing more. Why dont you go try sprint out and hen talk. I can talk becasue Ive tried all 4 carriers out in the last 30 days and sprint has beat out in call quality 3g speeds and price.  The only thing verzion has going for it is the fact that is the fact that it is realatveily larger then sprint.

My bill with verzion would have ben 389 dollars a month for what I get with sprint wich I pay 190.

I have 3 smart phones and 2 feature phones on my plan.

Any mobile any time saves us crapload of minutes

I use about 2g of data a month on our plan and oh tethering with my win mobile phone as well as the 2 android phones

1500 and 129.99 a month gets you 2 lines of 1500 anytime minutes unlimited weekends and evenings starting at 7pm. Unlimited data navigation blackberry access and everything else. Sprint the best bang for the buck and has excellet quality great line up and  already has a 4g network in place that is easily migratable to lte when it comes out. So yeah sprint is so bad so bad that their prices are good devices are good and its network is so good. If verzion was cheaper it would be worth it but 389 dollars vs 190 ha easy choice.

oh by the way evo looks so great that yeah I will kick verizon to the curve, talking about customer service verizon is the worst well one can not say anything abou their coverage it is better than all other carries no doubt but other than this there is no argument period.

Ajac, if sprint is so great why are you on a Verizon forum/network? Sprint fanboy/plant? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Everyone at my work that had sprint dropped them for bad service, so check your area. I think they have to charge the least and offer the most just to stay in business because they seem to fail at everything else. Just my .02

Uh, right...And if Sprint hadn't purchased Nextel? It doesn't really matter, though. Alltell has about 13 million customers when it was purchased by Verizon. Verizon has about 36 million more customers than Sprint. You might want to try your arithmetic again.

Ok....Here is the thing. Verizon is the only carrier i can get. Im from NY and Live in Queens. Sprint? No. Ive heard so many bad stories about them in the NY area its insane. The their so called 4G nerwork wont work in NYC right now anyway. T-Mobile. Are you kidding. I might as well give whomever im calling a string and a paper cup. AT&T? I think anytime a company stops selling their top product in your area (iphone anyone) thats a sign that they suck....in that area.

So verizon knows it has areas like New York, San Fran and other major cities by the {word filter avoidance}
.....and says....oh should we sell a brand new state of te art HTV EVO type phone? ehhhh...why, when we can give these poor fools crap and they will like it.
