I searched the boards with no concrete answers to my issue.
I have a Droid4, got it a couple months ago. Been working great, I had reluctance to upgrade from my 3G in fear I would lose my unlimited data package. After the upgrade I have monitored my bill and see it is still set to unlimited (yay!).
For the past two days, my phone has only been connecting to 3G. I have never had any issue not connecting to 4G in my coverage area before. I had watched a few movies while on a midnight shift at work. I went online and saw my data usage was at 4.345 GB. Does Verizon cut off 4G access after a certain amount of data usage?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

I like the suggestion, however it is still in 3G mode.
Which got me thinking I should reboot the phone (should have tried that first). That did the trick, 4G LTE is back.

They might be doing some maintenance in your area, too. Try toggling airplane mode and see if the phone reconnects to 4G.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
