I got the Moto Droid and she got the HTC Eris. I got mine first and the store could not bring over my contacts & calander. I got it done with gmail and gcalendar. The Verison store was able to get her contacts and calander... So on the Moto Driod, when you put in an event, you can select people to invite (goes by email). On the HTC no option in the new event. Both sync the gmail and gcalendar with the Outlook, but without her ability to invite people, all is lost. HELP! How can we get this fixed? Is it the op sys version, different calanders... Moto Driod calander has a blue "g" or "@" or something... HTC has numbers "24" on the ap icon.
At large it sounds like a complete UI difference. If what she's looking for is to send invites to people through her calender, from her phone and she can't do it, and it's an absolute MUST, then I suggest getting the Droid for her, as I don't think that the HTC Hero/Eris cannot do it. Nor do I know an app that can do just that (though there is probably one out there, my knowledge on Calendar invitations isn't just prolific).
However if she needed to do it that badly, she could just do it through the gmail site.
