I am currently grandfathered in to the Verizon unlimited data plan, and I currently am using an Android phone. From what I've read so far, if I buy another Android phone outright and do not use any type of upgrade discount I will still get to keep my unlimited data. I want to know if I buy an iPhone outright and switch from and Android to iPhone if I will still be able to keep my unlimited data plan? Does anyone know?

yes; it doesn't matter which phone you buy, if you want to keep unlimited data (at least for now), you must pay full retail price for the phone or buy it from somewhere that doesn't require a new two-year contract (in other words, no subsidized phone).
