I have been using google maps on my Moto Droid, and really enjoy it. The problem I have is that now under layers there are several old searches and places that I would like to delete, I cant find out how!!!
Do any of you know how to delete layers you dont want any more??

On the main map screen, hit - menu->more->clear map
That does not remove old searches and directions from the layers list.
Hey mrphoto98, There is one way to remove the old searches, however it will delete the entire search history.
1. Go into your Settings.
2. Application Setting.
3. Manage Application.
4. Scroll down to Google Maps.
5. Once you open Google Maps click on Clear Data.
6. Select Yes on the pop up window.
7. The data will return to 0.00B. This will indicate that Google Maps history has been deleted.
8. Press End key on the phone to return to Home.
