When I charge my phone, it either fast charges or slow charges. When it slow charges (which is most of the time), the battery percentage actually goes down. I have to keep plugging in my phone until it will fast charge. When it actually does fast charge, the charger gets wayyyy too hot. It is literally so hot that it will burn you. I'm afraid this is going to fry my phone or even worse burn my house down. I'm very concerned, and this isn't safe.

It is common for the new Samsung flagship line. Don't worry.

As long as you use the Samsung charger and cable, you should be fine. The faster a phone charges, the hotter it gets. 110-130 degrees is normal for my fast/turbo charging devices.

MY brother in law said the same thing about his phone. It is related to the quick charging. He is also concerned.
