After the latest update from Verizon on the Galaxy S4 to Android 4.3, the text messaging app no longer lets me search by name.
How it used to work:
Touch Messaging
Touch New Message
Start typing the recipient name, the search will match the name or number
How it works after the update:
Touch Messaging
Touch New Message
Start typing the recipient name
The search will NOT match the name
The search will ONLY match the number. This is not helpful if I have not memorized all the phone numbers in my contacts.
My question is, how can I get the messaging app to search for names like it used to?
