When will Eris get 2.1. I am getting impatient. There are lots of apps I cant use? Not a good idea for verizon to leave Eris in limbo!

Do a search on the forum here and you'll find approximately 20 billion other identical threads to yours. Might as well pick one and chime in there rather than starting another one. Those already have momentum.
