I talked with tech support today. We are currently possibly going to our 4th! HTC Eris. We have had the phone for only 8 months and have had a ton of problems (basically it comes down to a new Eris phone every 2 months).
When I talked to tech support today, the options they gave me were to have another Eris sent as a replacement or the LG Ally as a replacement for the Eris. I tried to inquire about the Incredible since people said on other threads that they were sent those as a replacement, but they said that was not an option to me. Also, I'm due for my upgrade 2/8/11 but they wouldn't let me do an early upgrade for my daughter who is using the Eris. 
They did offer me other preowned phones which cost money, but I have a problem with that since this problem isn't my fault but the phone manufacturers fault. I honestly hung up the phone and cried since this is just so darn frustrating to me.
Anyway, enough of my whining....sorry about that! I realize both of these phones have issues which are similar. I guess my question is does anyone have experience with both of these phones and, if so, which one do you feel had less issues and ran better? They are calling me back tomorrow and I have to decide by the morning!
