Thanks for your quick response. The problem is fixed. I got through on the support
line. I had wi-fi turned on and as I have a router on my computer the two were
apparently competing. All is well. I am sooo pleased with the help I have received
in my recent upgrade. It pains me to see all the kvetching and p___ing and
moaning from subscribers. I think you guys do a great job. Keep up the good work!!

using both phone wi-fi & a computer wireless connection @ same time shouldn't be an issue of competing.
i do it daily with a linksys wrt54g router on an up to 15 meg account, which i get most of the time with cox.
glad you got it fixed.

Nothing that isn't at least a little painfful -
Does it only fail to sync when you're on you're WLAN?
I assumed from your post the other day that they problem was the phone and workstation had somehow both
been assigned the same IP address, yes/no?
Have you done a battery pull?
Is it only Yahoo that's having problems?

I agree. Using wi-fi shouldn't cause any problems or confict with your email. No matter, it's working and that's all that counts. At times I have to used wi-fi even with the network extender because my Samsung Stratosphere doesn't connect with the VZW network. From the form comments, the connection issue is apparently a problem with the Stratospere.

I did a battery pull when I talked to tech support yesterday. That worked until today. My phone and
my wife's phone are set up exactly the same and mine still works. I am certain a battery pull will
have her's functioning again but it appears that's a band-aid.

Since you've already deleted and re-added the account...the next thing I'd try would be a factory reset <--- that's where the painful part comes in that I was mentioning.

I pulled the battery and corrected the problem. Must I go to Verizon for a reset?
