The replacement was brand new.
Same thing happened to me. Day 5. I had a cover on it but not one that kept it from cracking apparently. Then, since I made a claim on my Droid X2 about 10 months ago... Asurion kicked me out for making 2 claims in 12 months. Now what do I do? So be careful and get an otterbox.
try squaretrade for possible insurance at this point.
