My RAZR MAXX is just barely 2 years old. It is running slow despite daily text deletings, cache clearings, and non-essential app elimination. I am experiencing significant amounts of forced stops on various apps. It is missing calls. I am experiencing a 1-2 second delay in typing a character and seeing it displayed. Of course, I am conveniently able to upgrade. I am sure all of the duplicate google, verizon apps that cannot be removed have nothing to do with the problem. Motorola is notorious for a "planned obsolesence" business model. I work in public safety, and we use Motorola radios. In the last 2 generations, Motorola has simply stopped making parts for our radios after 5 years. I am getting frustrated. I hate the preloaded untouchable apps like Verizon tunes, navigator and other crap that I will not use. I am not sure if I want to ditch Motorola, Verizon, or both. I have even tried "safe mode." Is it crazy to expect more than 2 years out of a phone?
