Droid Bionic. System Update Failed

I have a Droid Bionic that was owned by me and then by my mother. I rooted it then she took it and made it her phone. I'm afraid she deleted an important file or app that is required to update. Can I take this phone to a Verizon store and have them restore it to factory settings, how it was out of the box?

No. Additionally you should look elsewhere on sites dedicated to modified phones for the steps in restoring the phone to the most recent official update. The Terms of Service for this community prevent any further discussion.
