I recently replaced my Digitizer, now when I answer a call or make one my screen goes black. I have to open the phone to get the screen to come back and end the call. Is there a fix for this? All connections have been TRIPLE CHECKED!!!

Are you sure it is connected to the function of the proximity sensor? It is designed to black out the screen when the phone is near your face so you don't accidentally disconnect the call.

Yes that's what's happening as soon as I send the call. Nothing is blocking the sensor, and I can see the red dot before I even get the phone close to my head. I'm just wondering if it's a warranty setting to show tampering. If so, can I fix it?

Does the screen turn on when you briefly press the power button to wake the phone while on a call?

No, I have to open the slide in order to end the call or use the dial pad.
