the manufacture hasn't said this is a known issue. just because 5 people on the internet have had the same problem doesn't mean motorola knows about it

I guess I am no different than anyone else on here.  I am only on replacement #4 with the Droid 3, but have been finally told that they will replace it with any 3G phone that Verizon has available.  However, since I want the physical keyboard...there are 3 options and all of which are NOT good options.  I am VERY upset that Verizon does not give a shit about their customers.  Obviously this is an issue with the phone.  They even told me to call the manufacturer and that they have NO REPORTS of any issues with this phone.  I am having all the same issues as everyone else:

  1. wifi goes on and off as it pleases, even with home connection
  2. text messages just hang up with green arrow going out and never actually send
  3. reboots 2-3 times a day

I have been dealing with these issues for over a year now, I am not eligible for an upgrade until April 2013, so I have been limping along on the phone.  I will NOT get another Motorola phone for sure and I am debating after all this with verizon if I want to continue with this company or switch to another as the customer service has been horrible with this, all they offer is to send another refurb phone, just stupid if there is a known problem!

I am now waiting for my fourth replacement Droid3 in less than one year's time.  I keep having the same issues:  the phone freezes and won't connect my calls for five to fifteen minutes; my phone gets extremely hot; I get two, three, or more of the same texts; some texts don't come through at all.  I have had the battery and the phone replaced numerous times.  Each time I get a replacement, It works fine for approximately a month and half to two months tops.  Then the same problem starts.  I am a long time Verizon customer and I don't feel that I am getting my money's worth anymore.
