My droid 3 while playing music will skip pretty constantly now, it used to be occasionally but now it happens every couple of seconds. It's not jumping forward, it just will stop playing for a moment like it has received a notification but it never plays a notification sound.
eick74, I know how important it is to have music play properly because I use music while working out, and waiting for appointments. I’m sorry you’re having issues but I’m here to help. I was unable to locate this as a reported issue with your phone but we can try some trouble-shooting to fix the issue. How did you download your music and where did you download your music from? Have you tried to perform a battery pull? Are you using a music app from the Google store or internet? An application may be causing functionality issues with your device, so I recommend enabling/disabling safe mode, which will tell you with apps may have issues.
