We have followed the instructions given for "checking for update" and receive the masseage "no update is available". If the newest update is the Caland_X....... Version and the version indicated on the phone is Calgary..... why are we not receiving the message "update available" on the Devour?

Calgary is the version provided by Motorola, meaning it's an Android-based smartphone by Motorola. CALAND_X_01.15.08P is the latest software released for the Motorola Devour. To check for the software version on the device follow these steps:Applications > Settings > About phone.

First, Thank you for your response. To clarify, We have followed these same instructions repeatedly and to the letter but we receive the message "no update available, your phone is up to date". Why do we receive this message if we know the Caland update for the phone is or should be available and the version on the phone is showing the Calgary version?

Well... that is odd. I looked at the "about phone" and it shows Calgary 1.15.83 under system version. Scrolled down to find this, "Caland_X_01.15.08P" for baseband version.
So now I am confused. Is baseband version what we need to look at or system version?

Thanks for the reply!
I have no idea. Did you scroll down on the same screen to find the Caland info?
