I have a droird razer. I received a TXT yesterday while deer hunting from a buddy of mine. As soon as I opened txt of 2 deer I get a full screen locked message about unit being locked for safety reason...looks like an official government form demanding you go purchase a cash card and send them $$.....Go to CVS or somewhere and buy a cash card and enter code on that locked page.

I have seen this virus/rip off talked about on home PC but never on cell phone..

I am just trying to find out if I can somehow run anti virus or a format if need to with this locked message screen

If this screen is preventing you from doing anything else on your device you may have to use the alternate method for factory resetting your device. I have never heard of this and the only place I saw it happen on a computer was last season on The Good Wife.
